Big Brother Naija housemate, Joanna has enjoyed a big surprise from Big Brother during the ongoing “Barest Minimum” week in the Season 10 show.
The task for this week is one of the toughest the housemates have faced so far.
Big Brother removed all the luxury and comfort that they usually enjoy inside the house. Food is now very limited, access to hot water and other basic amenities has been cut off, and the housemates are only surviving with the barest minimum.
Since the announcement, most of the housemates have been complaining and struggling to cope. Some have even had small quarrels over food and sharing of limited items. The mood in the house has been tense, with everybody trying to adjust to the difficult living condition.
In the middle of this struggle, Joanna got lucky. The famous red telephone rang and she quickly picked it up. Big Brother then rewarded her with a special three-night bed and breakfast treat.

The treat comes with everything the other housemates are currently missing, warm shower, soft bed, freshly prepared breakfast and other comforts that are not available in the main house this week. It is almost like a small holiday for her in the middle of the hardship.
Joanna was also told to pick one person to share the reward with, and she chose Dede. The two of them will now enjoy the package together, but Big Brother warned them not to reveal the full details of what they are enjoying to the rest of the housemates.
The “Barest Minimum” week is expected to continue shaking the house till the end of the task. Already, fans of the show are predicting more drama as the days go by. With food shortage, no luxury, and hidden treats like the one Joanna got, many believe the housemates will clash, alliances will be tested, and new strategies will come up as everybody fights to survive.
