Judy Austin, the second wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has broken her silence amid reports of a crisis in their marriage.
In a recent post, the actress shared video of her friend cradling her daughter, describing her as her “Best friend, protector, backbone, gossip partner and Queen Warrior.”
Austin went on to lavish praises on her, noting that she had stood by her through “thick and thin” and remained a blessing in her life.
In her words: “Having you a sister and a bestie is one of the GREATEST GIFT GOD has ever blessed me with.
“I can’t imagine life without you my BEAUTIFUL DIAMOND. You’re ALWAYS there whenever I need you🥲🥲
“You’ve been my anchor all through my life, I know we were sisters in our past lives and I know the cycle will continue in our next lives.God is healing and saving people through you EZENWANYI UMUOJI MU. You are a FORCE!!!

“You’re so GIFTED and I’m so happy you’re MINE. You are a LIGHT in this very dark world. My ANGEL in human form. The MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN I KNOW.
“On this special reincarnation day anniversary, I pray that your LIGHT will continue to shine ever so brightly. That people will continue to be liberated from bondage through your beautiful Gift. That everything beautiful will continue to be your portion. We’re BLESSED to have you as the ADA of our family.”
Her post comes amid reports of an alleged crisis between her and Yul, after rumors surfaced on social media that the actor was caught cheating with another actress.
Checks on their individual Instagram pages also revealed that Judy had not recently shared her usual videos praising Yul, fueling further the speculations.

So far, neither Yul nor Judy has publicly addressed the rumors.
Yul introduced Judy Austin as his second wife in April 2022, announcing the birth of their first child together, news that was met with strong disapproval from his first wife, May.
In August 2023, May filed for divorce from the actor and demanded ₦100 million in damages. By June 2024, her legal team, DPA Family Clinic, alleged that Yul had stopped caring for his children.
In a separate controversy, Judy’s former husband, Emmanuel Obasi, accused her of denying him access to their children for 10 years.
