Nigerian actress Jumoke George has been reunited with her daughter, Adeola, after a harrowing four-year separation.
Adeola was reportedly trafficked to Mali and had been out of contact with her mother during this period. The emotional reunion was captured on video by Nollywood actress Biola Bayo, who shared the heartwarming moment when Jumoke George saw her daughter for the first time in years.
In the video, Jumoke George was overcome with emotion, tears streaming down her face as she questioned her daughter about her experiences. Adeola revealed that she was trafficked to Mali and was sold to another person upon her arrival. She was also informed that she would be required to pay N1.5 million to her buyers.

The veteran actress had shared with Biola Bayo on how she battled with illness and the heartbreak of having a missing child. She revealed that she started living in a church six years ago due to her difficult circumstances. Jumoke George spoke tearfully about hiding her predicament due to shame and fear of public ridicule. Her health issues worsened earlier this year, forcing her to cancel acting jobs.
The reunion was not without its tense moments, as Biola Bayo scolded Adeola for not reaching out to her mother in four years. Bayo described Adeola’s actions as “coldhearted” and emphasized that she should be apologizing to her mother, not her.
In Bayo’s words: “Let me not lie to you, you’re coldhearted. A whole four years? You don’t have to be sorry to me but to your mum. If you know what you have done to that woman, and your kids, those children are now grown. It would have been a different case entirely if you were still calling. People started to say your mother was lying and that she was in contact with you.”
Despite the emotional challenges, the reunion brought joy to fans, who were relieved to see Jumoke George and her daughter reunited.
