Nollywood actor, Odira Nwobu has been involved in a ghastly car accident in Lagos, eelive.ng learnt.
Reports indicate that several individuals lost their lives in a road accident that occurred on the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway on Thursday, January 26, 2025.
Sources reveal that Nwobu was rushed to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. He was reportedly on his way to a location for a shoot when the unfortunate incident occurred.

Meanwhile, Lekan Olatunji, the Nollywood actor, recently opened up about how he battled memory loss after he was hospitalised for three months following a tragic incident in 2022.

The actor who lost his wife some couple of months ago, recounted how he narrowly escaped death after undergoing multiple surgeries.
“There was a time I had an accident and it wasn’t easy, because I was in the hospital for three months with a memory loss, so I thank God for His grace,” he said.
“Here I am doing well. We should give the doctors their own praise and God His glory. Even my doctor friends were shocked and said they wouldn’t believe me if they hadn’t seen me, because they saw my skull. I went through series of surgeries but I thank God because it wasn’t easy.”
The actor mentioned that one of his doctor friends was particularly shocked by his survival, noting that the level of trauma he endured could have been fatal.
