Kate Henshaw, a veteran Nollywood actress, has spoken about her falling out with fellow actress Genevieve Nnaji.
She discussed their strained friendship on the Tea with Tay podcast and shared how it ended quickly.
Kate explained that she does not know exactly why their friendship ended.
She thinks they may have grown apart or that there was some mistrust. She also said she is still unsure about what happened with the popular actress.
“We grew apart. Maybe she had some kind of mistrust about me… I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what came over her”.
Meanwhile, the actress also opened up about a past relationship that ended when she found out her ex-partner was dealing with mental health issues and was controlling.
The mother of one shared that her ex had planned to marry her and had even bought a ring. She said she was happy at first and thought the relationship could lead to marriage.
However, Henshaw said things changed after a close friend told her to slow down and notice some warning signs. She explained that her ex became very possessive and tried to control many aspects of her life, like her clothing and decisions.
She said: “There was one who wanted to marry me, he has mental issues. I am sure if he sees this video he will know he is the one I am talking about. He is Schizophrenic in nature, he is not alright. He had bought ring and I was excited but my bestie told me to slow down. The man was very possessive.”
