Kemz Mama Cries Out Over Piracy of Her New Movie ‘My Alien Lover’

Popular Nigerian content creator and actress Kemi Ikuseedun, better known as Kemz Mama or Mummy Wa, has taken to social media to decry the alleged piracy of her latest independent project.

In an emotional video, Ikuseedun lamented: “This is not fair. Why will you download my entire movie and put it on YouTube? It was affecting my views drastically. Each time I search on YouTube, it’s your own channel that comes out first.”

The film, My Alien Lover, is a unique Korean-Nigerian romantic drama exploring love across cultures. Produced under KemzMama Entertainment and directed by Director Sweet, it stars Ikuseedun alongside Korean and Nigerian talents including Jong Lee, Aji Anje, Renee Ju, Isbae U, and others. The story follows a Nigerian woman’s unexpected romance with a Korean stranger.

Released directly on her YouTube channel in late April, the movie has already garnered hundreds of thousands of views, showcasing strong audience interest in the unique content. However, unauthorized re-uploads threaten the independent creator’s earnings and visibility.

Ikuseedun, who built her fame through comedy skits and collaborations (including with Mr Macaroni), has increasingly ventured into full-length filmmaking. Her previous Korean-Naija project My Sunshine also gained traction online.
