A woman’s discovery of her husband’s secret money transfers to his ex has left her questioning their marriage.
Despite her husband’s assurance that the transfers are purely out of compassion, she feels disrespected and torn between forgiveness and separation.
She wrote; “I found out my husband still sends money to his ex and his reasons left me speechless. He swears there is nothing between them, that it is just compassion. But every part of me feels disrespected.”

The wife revealed that her husband had been sending money to his ex without her knowledge, claiming it was a gesture of goodwill. However, when she found out, she felt betrayed and hurt, wondering why he didn’t discuss it with her beforehand.
“Marriage is supposed to be about honesty, right? So why does his kindness feel like betrayal? I’m torn between walking away and trying to forgive. If your spouse was secretly sending money to their ex just to help, what would you do?“
“I asked why he didn’t tell me, and he said because he knew I would misunderstand. But how am I supposed to understand that you have been secretly sending money to your ex? He swears there is nothing between them, that is just compassion.”
