In a emotional turn of events, Nigerian brand influencer and businesswoman King Mitchy with the birth name Mukoro Michelle, has publicly apologised to the prominent figures she recently clashed with and offended online.
In a widely circulated video shared on March 13, 2026, King Mitchy knelt and expressed deep remorse for her actions. She specifically addressed Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, saying, “I’m so sorry, sir. I disrespected you publicly, so I want to apologize publicly.” She also tendered an apology to the Ooni of Ife, acknowledging his royal status and seeking forgiveness.
Turning to activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), she stated, “VeryDarkMan, my brother, I’m very sorry for coming at you the way I did. Now I understand what you’re fighting for—a better Nigeria. I’m sorry, my brother.”
King Mitchy extended her apology to all Nigerians, admitting her mistakes, including controversial behavior that sparked widespread backlash. She emphasised readiness to be held accountable and expressed regret for disappointing those who supported her philanthropic efforts.

Recall that weeks earlier, King Mitchy had questioned VDM’s handling of public donations for his NGO after she showcased her rapid school renovation project. VDM fired back, accusing her of being a political tool to launder the image of President Bola Tinubu’s administration. He alleged that Seyi Tinubu, the president’s son, had secretly funded her lifestyle and charitable efforts since 2023.
Seyi Tinubu denied the allegations, stating he met Mitchy only once publicly in support of her work and refused to be bullied.
The feud escalated as Mitchy reportedly lost her business page due to mass reports, however, during a shocking livestream, Mitchy consumed a harmful substances— Hypo (bleach), raising public alarm and even spreading false death rumors.
