Kemi Adetiba’s crime thriller King of Boys was arguably the best movie of 2018. And now that there’s a sequel on the way, streaming giant Netflix has already acquired the rights to King of Boys 2!
The blockbuster sequel, which is set for release in 2021; is one of many Nollywood movies that Netflix has looped in as part of its investment in African entertainment. However, King of Boys 2 is one of the first to ever become a Netflix original.
And after Netflix listed Kemi Adetiba in its ‘Groundbreaking Women in Entertainment‘ list; it is no surprise that they want to hit the ground running with this highly successful movie franchise.
A few days ago, Adetiba revealed on Twitter and Instagram that they had wrapped up the principal photography for KOB 2 in post production.
