Entertainment industry experts always rely on the  quote ‘sophomore effort is a curse’. They believe this to hold true especially in a case where an artiste’s debut effort is highly successful.

Well, that chilling theory doesn’t hold for Kizz Daniel apparently. The music star recently achieved the feat of garnering over 1,000,000 active streams on Boomplay streaming service for his second album No Bad Songz. The 20-track album was released last year in November to favourable reviews.

The news was revealed by the afro pop singer earlier today on his Twitter handle.

“New record alert: My sophomore album “No Bad Songz” surpasses 1 million streams on @boomplaymusicng in  six weeks. All the Glory to You God.” He further went on to appreciate his fans. “Thank you guys for the love and support always #teamflyboy #teamvdg.”

No Bad Songz album is reinforced with the might of local and international acts like Davido, Nasty C, Diplo, Wretch 32, Diamond Platnumz, Demmie Vee & Dj Xclusive.

With over 32 million users, Boomplay is recognised as one of the top streaming platform tailored specifically to meet the streaming needs of the Nigerian market, and Africa at large.
