Netizens have taken to social media to share their reactions after a picture of Captain Oluranti Ogoyi, the ValueJet pilot involved in a dramatic incident with Fuji legend KWAM 1, went viral.
The controversy surrounds an incident at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, where K1 De Ultimate allegedly attempted to board a ValueJet flight with a flask containing alcohol, sparking a safety breach.

The situation escalated, with the plane taxying and nearly hitting K1 De Ultimate. Two ValueJet pilots involved in the incident, Captain Oluranti Ogoyi and First Officer Ivan Oloba, were suspended for violating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) however, sanctioned K1 De Ultimate, restricting him from flying nationally and internationally for six months. The sanction follows the incident at the Abuja airport, where K1 De Ultimate’s actions were deemed a breach of aviation safety regulations.
The NCAA also petitioned the Attorney-General of the Federation and the Inspector-General of Police, asking them to investigate and prosecute veteran Fuji musician. Here are some reactions generated from the pilot’s viral picture:
