A viral video circulating on X has stirred conversation as a Nigerian lady publicly criticised music star Davido for what she described as “doing too much” to gain public praise.
Her comments followed Davido’s surprise appearance on Carter Efe’s Twitch stream, where he helped boost the comedian’s visibility and reportedly secured him a N200 million brand deal live on-air.
In the clip, the woman questions Davido’s decision to associate with Carter Efe, saying, “You need to give yourself that level and respect. Who is Carter Efe? Why are you showing up for him?
“That’s why I respect Wizkid,” she concluded.
