American singer, songwriter, and dancer Ciara Princess Wilson has spoken highly of Lagos State, praising the significant improvements in its infrastructure.
Speaking during her visit to Lagos for the Lagos Fashion Week, Ciara noted that the city’s transformation is remarkable compared to her previous visits.

“It’s so great to be here! I’m really glad. This isn’t my first time, I know about Lagos. When I used to land, I used to see dirty roads, but now it’s all clean and it has changed,” Ciara said, acknowledging the efforts made to revamp the city.
The Lagos Fashion Week 2025 is set to take place from October 29 to November 2, 2025, at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria. This year’s edition marks a significant milestone as it is its 15th anniversary. The event promises to showcase stunning collections from over 60 designers, blending ancestral craftsmanship with cutting-edge design.
The theme for this year is “In Full Bloom,” symbolizing the growth and vitality of African fashion.
