Bisi Alimi, an advocate for the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ+) community in Nigeria has slammed politicians who pay tithe to church after embezzling public funds.
The LGBTQ advocate aired his opinion via his Instagram stories earlier today.
He mentioned that the 10% payment given to churches should be scrutinized and condemned.

“It is only in Nigeria that someone will embezzle money meant for other people’s salary or pension and then give money as offering to the church on Sunday, expecting God to multiply 10x“, he wrote.
“Seriously, Nigeria is a cruise”, Alimi concluded.
Bisi Alimi is a British-Nigerian gay rights activist, public speaker, blog writer, and HIV/LGBT advocate who gained international attention when he became the first Nigerian to come out on television.

His collection of poems includes: “A Note to my father”, “The answer is always there”, and his published poem “I told them a tale”.
His TEDx talk, “There should never be another Ibrahim” has been listed as one of the 14 most inspiring QUEER TEDtalk of all time. Alimi gave the closing speech at the Daily Beast event hosted at the New York Public Library titled, “I am Bisi Alimi and I am not a victim”.
