Nigerian singer Keshinro Ololade, popularly known as Lil Kesh, has come under heavy criticism following his reaction to the wedding of Priscilla Ojo, daughter of popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo.
eelive earlier reports that Priscilla Ojo on Thursday and Sunday tied the knot with her Tanzanian lover and singer, Juma Jux, in a glamorous ceremony that lit up Lagos.
The event drew an impressive lineup of Nigerian celebrities, including Mercy Aigbe, Nkechi Blessing, Toyin Abraham, Destiny Etiko, Ebenezer Obey, Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola, and many more—making it one of the most star-studded weddings of the year.
Joining many well-wishers, Lil Kesh took to X (formerly Twitter) to congratulate the new bride.
However, his message caused a stir due to the pet name he used.
“Congratulations, P Coco, God bless your union,” he wrote.
The post didn’t go down well with many users who slammed him for addressing the newly married woman by an old nickname allegedly from their rumoured relationship.
“We don’t care. She’s married. Move on geez,” one person said.
Another wrote, “If u like, don’t wish her, na u sabi? Her home is blessed already; thanks.”
“You no know her name? Which one is the pet name? It’s not needed,” someone else added.
“He should have shut up o bcos we didn’t even know they dated! Werey,” another user commented.
“P Coco toh, you wan just do like say you know am finish,” one person wrote.
Back in 2019, Priscilla was rumoured to be in a romantic relationship with Lil Kesh.
However, in an interview with BBC News Pidgin, Priscilla denied ever dating the singer, insisting they were never romantically involved.
