Nigerian actress, Etinosa Idemudia, has shared a strong message for women in abusive relationships.
In an Instagram story, the filmmaker cautioned ladies who ignore red flags during dating, stressing that a man who hits or shoves his partner while they’re still dating will only get worse in marriage.

She wrote: “I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if he’s putting his hands on you while dating, shoving you, hitting your hand, pushing your head as an ordinary boyfriend… Be assured, it will graduate to full-blown beatings when you get married. Even before the marriage sef. He will beat you.”

Etinosa added that while some women may choose to tolerate such behavior, her message is strictly for those who refuse to settle for violence.
