Lalude, a popular movie actor in the Yoruba film industry, has called out MC Oluomo, the president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, for not fulfilling the promises made to him and other celebrities who supported President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the last election.
During the 2023 general elections, notable celebrities such as Toyin Abraham, Alapini, Olaiye Igwe, Lege Miami, Eniola Badmus, and Seyi Law, among others, led campaigns for the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Tinubu’s presidency.
However, expressing disappointment in a viral video on social media, Lalude accused MC Oluomo, who organized them for the campaign, of not fulfilling the financial rewards after the campaign.

“My colleagues and I campaigned for President Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu during the election, but we were not given a dime after the campaign.
“We left our jobs for a month and three weeks campaigning for them. MC Oluomo was the one who organized us for the campaign. He personally told Alapini and I to ask for anything we wanted, and we told him what we wanted but he didn’t fulfill his promise.
“My curse will follow those sitting on the money for the rest of their lives,” Lalude stated.
