During her emotional acceptance speech at the event, she stated, “Thank you, God, because somehow through all the plot twists, turns, detours, heartbreaks, and victories, you have allowed me to become exactly who I hoped I would be.”
The actress spoke about the heartbreak she has experienced over the years and what she has been able to achieve thus far.
The Hollywood actress stated that she transitioned from a mindset of seeking “perfect execution” to please God to a deeper understanding that prayer is about trusting God’s understanding of her true heart and intentions.
