Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem winner Mercy Eke has reacted to the news that US rapper Cardi B announced she is expecting a child with Stefon Diggs, a New England Patriots football player.
It would be recalled that the ‘I Like It Like That’ hitmaker, during a recent interview, disclosed that she is excited about the journey and is in a “good space”. She added that she and her man are “supportive of each other”.
“Well yes, I am. I am having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs. I am actually excited, happy, I feel like I am in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I am doing all this work but I am doing all this work while I am creating a baby. Me and my man we are very supportive of each other,” she said.
In response to the news, Eke shared attributes about Libra on her Snapchat, highlighting their ability to be both tolerant and firm when they’ve had enough..
She said: “One thing about a Libra, we’re deeply forgiving and endlessly patient, we endure the most and often apologize even when we’re right, not out of weakness but out of love. We give countless chances, but once a Libra woman is truly done, there’s no turning back.”
eelive.ng understands that the announcement comes amid Cardi’s divorce proceedings from her estranged husband Offset, the rapper.
The pair, who married in 2017, have had a highly publicised and rocky relationship, marked by multiple breakups and reconciliations.
They share three children: daughter Kulture, son Wave, and a newborn whose birth came shortly after Cardi B filed for divorce in late 2023.
In May, Offset filed for spousal support and joint custody of their three children.
