Reality TV star and entrepreneur Mercy Eke has sparked conversation online after revealing her willingness to embrace motherhood on her own terms whether or not marriage is in the picture.
In a recent interview, the former Big Brother Naija winner spoke candidly about her personal journey and evolving perspective on motherhood. With a blend of confidence and clarity, Mercy stated, “I’m ready to have a child outside marriage. This year, I wanted to have a baby, but something came up and I had to make a tough decision. At this point, if I get pregnant, I’m going to have my baby.”

The 30-year-old media personality emphasised her independence and financial readiness, noting that her years of hard work have put her in a position to care for a family on her own. “I can take care of myself and three kids,” she said boldly. “I’m a goal-oriented person that always sets things ahead for myself.”
Mercy further revealed that she hopes to have three children, two girls and one boy.
