Nigerian gospel singer Moses Bliss expressed disappointment after being denied entry into Tanzania due to visa complications, forcing him to miss a highly anticipated worship concert attended by over 60,000 people.

Bliss and his team had arrived at the airport in Nairobi, ready to fly to Tanzania for the free event, only to discover their visas hadn’t been approved despite earlier assurances from the organizing team.

In a heartfelt video message on Instagram, Bliss said, “Hello my family in Tanzania. I’m here in Tanzania right now, I’m not just allowed to come.” He explained that his team tried everything possible to resolve the issue, including reaching out to government officials and ambassadors, but were unsuccessful.

“We made every contact possible from everywhere around Africa. We even got presidential intervention, talking to different people in government and ambassadors, but we couldn’t get visas,” Bliss recounted. The team was later advised to obtain visas on arrival, but immigration officials denied them entry after landing in Dar es Salaam.

Bliss described the ordeal as painful and disappointing, considering the significant time, effort, and resources invested in the concert. “It’s very painful because we’ve been praying and looking forward to this event for so long. We’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to make this event absolutely free for you to just come and worship the Lord Jesus with us,” he lamented.

The gospel singer apologized to his Tanzanian supporters, thanking them for their love and promising to return. “Tanzania, please hear me, you were not at fault. You came out in numbers, ready for God, and that moves me deeply. I owe you not just an apology, but a promise, by God’s grace, I will return,” he assured.
