Nigerian singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, and model cum actress Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, have tied the knot in a private ceremony in Iceland.
Although the exact date of the wedding remains unknown, clips from the intimate ceremony have surfaced online, giving fans a glimpse into the special day.
The wedding took place at the iconic Hallgrímskirkja Church in Reykjavik, which was beautifully adorned with flowers and closed to the public to maintain the couple’s desired level of privacy. Only close family members and friends were in attendance to witness the union. Online videos captured Temi’s mother, Nana Otedola, and her famous sister, DJ Cuppy, leaving the church in breathtaking outfits.
Comedian and skitmaker Broda Shaggi hinted at the union as he shared clips on his Instagram page showing him with Mr Eazi and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, in Iceland. Mr Eazi had engaged Temi Otedola on Sunday, April 10, 2022, and she accepted, citing a deep sense of peace and connection with him. The couple had expressed their desire for a private wedding with only family members in attendance, with no more than ten people.
In 2023, Mr Eazi confirmed that they were already married, debunking rumors that they were keeping their marriage a secret. He revealed that the music video for his song “Legalise” featured footage from their wedding in Venice, showcasing their special day. Mr Eazi urged people to rewatch the video, stating that their outfits weren’t just costumes.
