Nigerian singer and choreographer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has disclosed how he reunited with some of the key creatives who helped shape P-Square’s success to create the trending single ‘I Can’t Look Away’.
The singer made the disclosure during a radio interview with media personality Steve Onu, popularly known as Yaw, noting that he returned to the formula that worked for the now-defunct music group by bringing back members of the team behind several of its biggest hits.
“I had to bring back everybody that worked with us as P’Square, like Foster Zeeno, who was the brains behind many of our hits as P’Square,” he said.
According to the 44-year-old, the move, which he described as strategic, was part of efforts to create a quality project that would appeal to fans across different markets.

He further disclosed how he recently signed a five-year deal with an international company, a partnership that includes the release of three albums.
“These people have invested so much in me, so I need to deliver,” he said.
Since its debut, the singer’s latest release has been getting a lot of attention. Many fans say it brings back the sound that made P Square one of Africa’s top music groups.
Music star Davido also praised the song, calling it a “fire” track on X, which brought even more attention to the release.
‘I Can’t Look Away’ came out on June 5 and is the lead single from Mr P’s upcoming album OG Forever, which is set to be released later this year.
P-Square, the duo of twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, became famous with hits like ‘Bizzy Body’, ‘No One Like You’, and ‘Personally’.
They reunited in 2021 after being apart for years, but now the brothers are back to working on their own music careers.
