Oluwatosin Ajibade, Nigerian singer and businessman, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has revealed that his income from music alone could not have paid for his wedding to actress and fashion entrepreneur, Temi Otedola.
Temi is the daughter of Nigerian billionaire and businessman, Femi Otedola.
The ‘Leg Over’ hitmaker made this known while responding to comments from fans on social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).
A user had claimed that Mr Eazi’s recent music release, Cassanova, was his way of recovering the expenses he allegedly spent on his wedding. Reacting to the statement, Mr Eazi laughed off the suggestion and asked if the fan truly believed music revenue could handle such costs.

In his words: “U think sey music go fit pay for that wedding my G? lol.”
Another social media user, however, argued that the singer’s music earnings from around 2018 would have been more than enough to foot the wedding bill.

Responding again, Mr Eazi disclosed that although he had some of his biggest hits between 2017 and 2018, those years were the most financially difficult for him in nearly a decade.
He wrote: “You got a point tho, but 2017-18 is the brokest I’ve been in the last 9 years! But all the music I put out then enter like mad sha, I’m really thankful.”
Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola recently tied the knot in a private ceremony held in Iceland, attended by close family and friends. The wedding generated wide attention on social media, with many fans celebrating the union of the award-winning singer and the billionaire’s daughter.
The couple’s relationship became public several years ago and has remained one of the most talked-about celebrity unions in Nigeria. In April 2022, Mr Eazi proposed to Temi in London, United Kingdom, an engagement that was also widely reported.
Mr Eazi has in the past shared that he first met Temi through her elder sister, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy. He explained that he and DJ Cuppy were friends before the introduction that later led to his relationship with Temi.
