Former Big Brother Naija star, Kiddwaya, has sparked conversations online after claiming that his father, Terry Waya, was responsible for the discovery of Banana Island Lagos’ most prestigious and luxurious residential area.

The revelation came during Kiddwaya’s appearance on the Off The Record podcast, where he casually responded to a question from the host by acknowledging his father’s involvement in the island’s development. He added that he only became aware of it during a recent trip, saying, “Yeah, I didn’t even know until I heard it during one of my trips.” He explained that his father later confirmed the story to him.

Terry Waya, a well-known Nigerian businessman, has made his mark through investments in real estate, agriculture, and hospitality. He rose to greater public attention during Kiddwaya’s time on the Big Brother Naija 2020 show.
