Nigerians have taken to social media to knock Nollywood actor turned politician Desmond Elliot after dining with his community, Ogunmola community, an act they tagged as a political one as we gear up for the general elections in 2027.
The politician who has been in the black book of netizens after a comment he made during the heat of the EndSars protest in Lagos in 2020, shared a video of himself visiting his community to dine with them for Iftar on his Instagram page today.

Many online users took to comment section to react to his post with many calling it a political move while some condemned the move saying it was common among politicians remembering their community when they need their votes:
