Nathaniel Bassey, the Nigerian gospel singer, has warned married men having affairs with single young women to desist from such act or else they will face serious consequences.
The 44-year-old trumpeter made this known while speaking recently to a congregation, where he cautioned married men not to deceive or have affairs with single women under false pretenses.
Bassey, known for his Hallelujah Challenge, also emphasised that his warning was serious and that offenders would face real consequences.

“If you’re a married man and you go about deceiving young girls, leading them on. Some even go as far as sleeping with them,” he said.
“I place a demand on the grace of God upon my life. If you try it this year, you won’t survive.
“Your shame will not be forgotten. It will be on social media. If you take a woman to a hotel, you lie; meanwhile, if you are married, you will not come out of that hotel. If you like, take what I’m saying jokingly.”
The singer also warned women who knowingly get involved with married men, cautioning that greed or material desires would not shield them from serious consequences.
“You too, you are a lady. If you know that a man is married and you know it in your heart, but because of greed, attention, Brazilian wigs, Brazilian hair, or designer bags, you choose to go ahead, if you try it, you won’t survive it,” he said.
