Sen. Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District has defended its decision to take legal action against a social media influencer, Timothy Gabriel, following his defamatory, misleading allegations against him and wife, Regina Daniels.
The senator while reacting to the publication posted by Omoyele Sowore, a former presidential candidate, in which he knocked the politician for securing a remand order against the TikToker, said both Sowore and Tuma are busybodies and nonentities.
Recall, Tuma some couple of months ago shared a video where he made shocking allegations against actress Regina Daniels, the sixth wife of politician, Ned Nwoko.
In the video, Tuma claimed Regina has a boyfriend in Abuja where she resides with her lawmaker husband. He went on to claim that he knows the hotel where Regina and her supposed boyfriend usually lodged to do their ‘’dirty things’. He further claimed that Regina’s two kids were not Ned’s. In his video, Tuma dared Ned and Regina to sue him.
Accepting the challenge, Nwoko’s approached the police and filed a lawsuit against Tuna. The TikToker was later arrested and thereafter remanded in prison.
Reacting, Sowore via his social media handle called out Nwoko for fraudulently securing a remand order against Tuma. He argued that Tuma shouldn’t have been remanded as he only ‘insulted’ the wife of a big man and did not commit any crime like R@pe.
Responding, Ned Nwoko via his Instagram on Saturday shared the video Tuma made and released on social media.
He then captioned the video: “This is who busybody jobless sowore is pretending to be defending. Sowore and the boy are miscreants and nonentities
“He challenged me to go to court. He has landed in the appropriate court, and justice will take its course. One million cyberbullying idiots can’t stop him from being prosecuted and punished as appropriate”
