Fresh controversy surrounds Nollywood actress Regina Daniels amid circulating documents alleging substance abuse concerns.
The rehabilitation center mentioned in the reports has denied releasing any medical records, citing patient confidentiality.
According to available information, medical reports from various institutions confirm the presence of certain substances in her system, posing health risks.
Senator Ned Nwoko’s team, released a statement raising concerns on the mother of two’s health and why the senator is insisting she completes her rehabilitation and treatment. The reports detailed her hospitalisation and rehabilitation, citing challenges faced by medical professionals, including interference from family members.
The statement reads: “The public is encouraged to read the full reports because they explain the situation clearly and directly. Both the toxicology report and the Serenity Hospital report confirm the presence of some substances at all levels that pose serious health risks.”

”The report also described the challenges the rehabilitation center faced, including persistent interference from her siblings. They openly stated that they do not see anything wrong in giving her alcohol and weed even while she was undergoing rehabilitation, and they continued enabling her substance use. Their actions made effective treatment impossible and remain one of the major reasons she has not been able to complete rehabilitation,” the statement continued.
The statement also shared why the senator insists that his estranged wife completes her treatment and rehabilitation. ”Many have questioned why the senator is insisting on therapy. His determination comes from the clear reality that several of Regina’s recent decisions are not coming from a stable and healthy frame of mind.”
It went further saying; “She’s vulnerable, unprotected, and exposed to individuals who exploit her for personal gain. Her online behavior reflects her current struggles, and she tends to listen more to public voices than medical professionals or her husband.”
