If nepo babies can garner followers, the regular kids can do it too. This is an article designed to celebrate the impressive influence of youngsters from the Nigerian community.
For every Imade Adeleke and Boluwatife Balogun who are poster kids for modern-day nepo babies, there is Ozzy Bosco, who became a sensational musician at the age of 7. Of course, Ozzy isn’t as popular as he used to be.
Earlier, eelive.ng reported that Prince Rakeem, the grandchild of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has garnered almost 200,000 followers on the social media platform, Instagram. The immense followership is coming five days after the baby was born.
In this article, we’ll be looking at some of the so-called nepo babies and how they’ve been able to garner followers predominantly due to the influence of their parents, who are celebrities.
In addition, we would also be discussing youngsters who have been able to make a name for themselves online or through social media. That is, they are not necessarily affiliated with any prominent figure; however, they have been able to carve a niche for themselves over the years.

Who Are Nepo Babies?
Nepo babies are simply offspring of a celebrity, socialite, or prominent figure in society. Nepo babies are introduced to wealth at a tender age and given some of life’s epicurean treatment compared to their peers who are born in an average to below middle-class household.
Although Nepo babies also have their challenges, the childhood trauma of Dj Cuppy and Temi Otedola wouldn’t be compared to their agemates who had to hawk on the streets of Isale Eko to get their daily bread. That’s an aside, Nepo babies usually have a better pulsation to life compared to their contemporaries, and that’s what this article is about, little lads who didn’t have to do much to amass over a hundred thousand followers on Instagram.
