Taking to the social media platform, X, Unkle Ayo mentioned that most elites, politicians and prominent figures in Nigeria cannot necessarily teach young persons from poor or average households how to attain financial freedom or prominence in their respective fields because most of them haven’t done anything worthwhile in creating wealth, hence, they do not have the fortitude to pass the knowledge to a budding generation.
In his multiple posts on X, Unkle Ayo explained how wealthy individuals such as Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Mr Eazi, among several others, have been aided by members of their families to commence their careers. Shedding more light, he stated that most wealthy people in Nigeria are predominantly nepo babies who were raised in a context dubbed ‘second generation wealth’, which is otherwise known as ‘old money’.
