Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has once again found himself at the center of online discussions, this time after pledging to cover funeral expenses for victims of a tragic shooting in Stockton, California.

The incident, which took place at a banquet hall during a birthday celebration with over 100 guests, claimed the lives of four people including 8-year-old Maya Lupian, a 9-year-old child, 14-year-old Amari Peterson, and a 21-year-old man. Eleven others were injured in what authorities believe was a targeted gang related attack.

Burna Boy’s offer was revealed after the story gained national traction, particularly during a segment on The Breakfast Club.
Coordinating through Stockton Vice Mayor Jason Lee and music executive Wack 100, the artist pledged to pay all funeral expenses, sparking a wave of mixed reactions online.
