Following the recent controversy surrounding Ezra Olubi, co-founder of Paystack, Nigerians have taken to social media to review the past tweets of several celebrities.
This trend has led to scrutiny of public figures, including Wizkid and Rita Dominic.
As reported by eelive.ng, the cofounder of the online payment platform was suspended last week over sexual misconduct.
However, several of his old tweets from 2010 found its way to resurrect as netizens expressed their disgust and dissatisfaction with his tweet prompting him to deactivate his X account.

Wizkid was found to have made a tweet in 2009 and 2010 that has sparked controversy, which he subsequently deleted. The tweet showed him expressing his admiration for a 14 year old girl whom he described as having a 19 year old body.
Another of his tweet made in 2024, he requested to use small girls for his next video .
Rita Dominic, on the other hand, responded to a user reviewing her past tweets with a brief comment, “clap for yourself”.
