Social media users have turned into full-time detectives after spotting that Big Brother Naija star BamBam dropped her husband Teddy A’s surname in the end credits of her latest movie.
Screenshots show her listed as “Oluwabamike Olawunmi,” omitting the “Adenibuyan” she previously used in earlier projects as Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan. This subtle change has fueled intense speculation about cracks in her marriage to fellow BBNaija star Teddy A (Tope Adenibuyan).

The couple, who met during the 2018 BBNaija “Double Wahala” season, got engaged shortly after the show, welcomed their first child, and tied the knot in a lavish Dubai ceremony in 2019. They built a strong public image as one of the franchise’s most successful pairs, welcoming two daughters and often sharing family moments.

Trouble signs emerged in December 2025 with separate Christmas posts instead of joint family photos. By February 2026, fans noticed the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram, with Teddy A reportedly deleting wife photos from his page.
Rumors escalated wildly, including false claims of BamBam being pregnant with actor Uzor Arukwe’s child—prompting Arukwe to threaten legal action over the baseless link. Some pointed to Teddy A’s podcast appearance addressing past domestic violence allegations as a trigger.
Some netizens say this omitted name is Nollywood errors, other blame the fallout in the fame Nollywood brought to BamBam who has stayed mostly silent.
Despite denials from close sources insisting they’re still together, and occasional family videos from BamBam showing her wedding band, the couple has not directly addressed the swirling divorce rumors.
