
A gay Nigerian man and his American partner have walked down the aisle in a church, sparking predominantly negative reactions from netizens.
According to reports gathered, the man whose name is Innocent Ndubuisi Okechukwu, married his lover, Greg, in the United States.

The wedding took place in St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Downers Grove, Illinois (USA) on January 10, 2026.

Okechukwu is said to be a composer and pianist.
Greg is a chorister and a lector in the Episcopal Church.
