Nigerian Influencer Ashmusy Faces Fresh Backlash Over Alleged Fake House Ownership

Popular Nigerian comedian and influencer Amarachi Amusi, better known as Ashmusy, has been called out by a real estate company accusing her of falsely claiming ownership of a multi-million-naira mansion in Lekki.

The property developer publicly stated that the luxurious house featured in Ashmusy’s widely viewed 2025 house tour video remains unsold and actively listed for sale. “Ignore the lies,” the company wrote in a viral post and also noted that prospective buyers have been avoiding the property, believing it already belongs to the influencer.

The 29-year-old content creator, who has about 3.6 million followers across all platforms, had presented the luxurious residence as her latest acquisition in several skits and promotional content, reportedly charging brands between ₦10–15 million for similar property features.

However, this is not the influencer’s first brush with authenticity allegations. In September 2025, she was accused of staging a luxury car giveaway using a rented vehicle. Ashmusy has not responded to the latest allegations.
