In a video seen by eelive.ng on Tuesday, August 18, a Nigerian lady was seen pleading on behalf of her husband, who physically assaulted her.
She mentioned that her husband only wanted to correct her; hence, he used coercion and brutality to enforce his message.
According to her, the correction was not something she considered negative, as she recognised that her actions had offended her husband.

Speaking with a swollen face, the woman said she had taken responsibility for her actions and was willing to ensure that the incident did not happen again.
She said, “There’s nothing bad about it. I offended my husband, and he corrected me. I won’t do that again.”
