A video of a Nigerian woman who was arrested for smoking weed wrapped in torn pages of the Bible has surfaced on social media.
In the viral clip, the woman, dressed in a colourful outfit and white hijab, was seen holding what appeared to be weed wrapped in torn bible sheets while being questioned by a man behind the camera.

“I am very proud of what I’m using,” the woman boldly declared.
When asked if she was smoking it, she replied, “Yes, to pray!”
The man filming the incident went on to explain that the woman had previously been taken in for treatment after authorities reportedly removed her two children from her care due to her unstable condition.
According to him, she had earlier improved after undergoing rehabilitation and promised to stop smoking weed before she was allowed to return home.
However, he claimed she recently relapsed and was caught using torn Bible pages to smoke weed
“She tears a portion of the Bible and wraps the weed with it. This is what she’s smoking,” the man said in the video.
He further alleged that the woman caused a disturbance near the entrance of a children’s school earlier in the day, prompting them to pick her up again.
“She has deteriorated seriously and has been causing a nuisance,” he added.
Earlier, Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince Zamani, claimed that he spent nothing less than ₦330–340 million on marijuana from just one dealer between 2020 and 2026.
