Some social media commentators think that a girlfriend proposal is balderdash and should be thrown out the window; meanwhile, other netizens find it romantic and are prepared to either express their love to their significant other or experience it from their love interest.

The discussion about the girlfriend proposal began last weekend, when a social media user, @Ifanyima, published a photo from a recent event where a man proposed to her to become his girlfriend. She didn’t disclose her response to the man; however, she hinted that she enjoyed the gesture and was appreciative of his thoughtfulness.
In the proposal that took place in a restaurant, the young lady held a flower bouquet in the first frame; meanwhile, in the second, there was a plate with the question, ‘Will you be my girlfriend?’
