The artist shared the sad news on Instagram on Thursday, posting a heartfelt tribute alongside a photo of them together.
Expressing gratitude for her love, strength, and sacrifices, he described her as his “greatest protector, toughest critic, and truest fan”.
Mr Eazi acknowledged her influence on his life, highlighting the values she instilled in him, including confidence, entrepreneurship and devotion to family.
He concluded his tribute by honoring her legacy and bidding her farewell.
Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, better known by his stage name Mr Eazi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record executive. He is the pioneer of Banku music, a fusion of sound he describes as a mixture of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian chord progressions and patterns.
