Using street lingua Franca and pidgin English to describe the hedonism behind his thoughts, Burna Boy talked about his love for women, cannabis, and, of course, money in this album.

An impressive album that continues to showcase Burna Boy’s artistry and penmanship. Releasing his 8th studio album, Burna Boy embodies what it means to be a consistent artiste and artist- the former, a musician who takes his craft seriously both in the studio and as a live performer, the latter, he paints the imagery of an ambitious hustler in the minds of his listeners. Say what you want about Burna, you can’t deny his proficiency as an ostentatious musician.
In No Sign of Weakness, Burna continues to stomp on the neck of his critics with his stiff Timberland boots, challenging them to either come into the squared circle with him and continue hating on him from behind.
Overall, it’s a decent album, but this won’t be Burna Boy’s marquee project as it doesn’t have many relatable songs, such as those from Africa Giant and Twice As Tall, with the latter winning a Grammy in 2021. This new 16-track album wouldn’t be winning a Grammy award, however it could receive nominations and shoutouts from music pundits.
No Sign of Weakness is as good as it would be, an impressive album that serves as the continuation of the establishment of Burna Boy’s iconic legacy. Overall, it’s good for the cruise, vibe, and a good time.
