Lekan Olatunji, the Nollywood actor, has revealed how he battled memory loss after he was hospitalised for three months following a tragic incident in 2022.
The actor who lost his wife some couple of months ago, recounted how he narrowly escaped death after undergoing multiple surgeries.
“There was a time I had an accident and it wasn’t easy, because I was in the hospital for three months with a memory loss, so I thank God for His grace,” he said.
“Here I am doing well. We should give the doctors their own praise and God His glory. Even my doctor friends were shocked and said they wouldn’t believe me if they hadn’t seen me, because they saw my skull. I went through series of surgeries but I thank God because it wasn’t easy.”
The actor mentioned that one of his doctor friends was particularly shocked by his survival, noting that the level of trauma he endured could have been fatal.
It would be recalled that in 2022, Lekan shared a video from his hospital bed, where his head and arms were bandaged. A source close to him later confirmed that he had survived a near-fatal accident.

Speaking about her death, the actor said he spent millions of naira on her health and surgery before she passed.
He added that though it was painful, he had to submit to the will of God, describing Him as unquestionable.
