Nollywood actor, Yomi Gold who runs a goat-selling business in the United States has been hospitalised following a sudden health scare that left him unconscious.
On Tuesday, the 45-year-old shared a video on Instagram from his hospital bed, explaining that he collapsed after feeling a sudden headache that almost cost him his life.
Yomi Gold said that the emergency medical team in Marrakech, Morocco, responded quickly, which was crucial in stabilising his condition and saving his life.
In his post, the actor talked about how fragile life can be and thanked everyone for their support.
He wrote: “Life truly lives in the seconds. Today reminded me how fragile our breath is and how quickly everything can change.
“A sudden headache nearly took me out, but by God’s mercy and the swift help of the emergency team in Marrakech, I am here resting and recovering
“I give thanks to God for preservation, for life, and for everyone He used to reach out, pray, and check on me. May we never take health, time, or one another for granted. Every moment is grace.”
Yomi Gold relocated to the United States several years ago and now lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In 2018, Yomi Gold officially became a US citizen. He later said that getting citizenship was “one of my most memorable moments.”
