Nollywood Actor Yul Edochie Writes Open Letter to President Tinubu Over Insecurity

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has written an open letter to President Bola Tinubu, expressing deep concern over the escalating insecurity in Nigeria.

In the letter which was shared on his Instagram, Edochie pointed out the suffering of Nigerians, frequent kidnappings and rising costs of living,  asking the President whether this aligns with the “renewed hope” promise he made to the people.

“Dear President Tinubu,” Edochie who has always been a supporter of President Tinubu wrote, “bandits are gradually taking over the whole country, spilling the blood of Nigerians at will without consequences. Nigerians are being kidnapped in numbers daily, things are so expensive, the suffering is unbearable for Nigerians. Is this the renewed hope you promised Nigerians?”

This open letter to the president comes as the country is battling with insecurity which seem to be escalating in daily basis with news endless kidnapping by gunmen which all started in tye North and in few weeks has extended to some parts of the East.

President Tinubu has however called out all heads of security forces to flush out these insurgents and restore peace back to the country.
