Beatrice Ige, popularly known as Dr Bea, sister of Lagos socialite Pretty Mike, has expressed relief and excitement after her brother was granted bail following his detention on alleged drug-related offences.
In a series of Instagram stories, she revealed the efforts she made to secure his release and hinted at the reopening of his nightclub, Proxy.
According to Dr Bea, Pretty Mike, whose real name is Mike Eze, requested a mirror as his first priority after spending 12 days in detention, wanting to check his appearance. As reported by eelive.ng, the NDLEA had raided Proxy Nightclub, alleging storage of nitrous oxide and cannabis sativa, leading to Pretty Mike’s arrest.
Dr Bea stated that the experience has left them more determined, saying, “Noise doesn’t make things happen; strategy does. We are not angry despite the allegations. Now that I am involved, Proxy is coming back better.”
