
Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, has explained the significance behind his traditional ‘red cap’.
Odumodublvck explained that the red cap, which is often seen as part of his trademark style, has a deep cultural meaning in Igbo tradition.
Speaking in his recent interview on Comfortably Speaking, the rapper revealed that he is using the cap to fight an industry war.
While describing the music industry as a “battleground,” he said, “This is a war cap. Whenever my tribe wants to go to war against another clan, all the warriors will wear this.
“So if I enter the music industry, which is a battleground, put two and two together,” the rapper stated.

Who is Odumodublvck?

Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, known professionally as Odumodublvck, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is known for his stage performances, genre-blending, and often wearing the Okpu Agu hat. The Okpu-Agu is traditionally worn by warriors in Igbo land.
