The Ogun State Police Command has issued an official update on the controversial case involving TikTok personality Abigeal Nsikak, widely known online as Mirabel, who initially alleged she was raped by an anonymous intruder in her home.
In a press release issued this evening by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, authorities confirmed that Mirabel voluntarily presented herself at the police station.
She was received by officers and immediately escorted to a medical facility for a thorough examination to substantiate her claims.

The statement reads in part: “She has continued to cooperate with investigators as due process progresses.”
Taking into account her reported personal struggles, including depression, emotional distress, and welfare needs, the police have released her from direct custody into the care of the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development. The Ministry has assumed full responsibility for her ongoing support and care, and has assured the Command that she will remain available for any further investigative requirements.
DSP Babaseyi emphasised that the matter is being handled with professionalism, sensitivity, and diligence. He appealed to the public and online commentators to avoid speculation, allow the investigation to run its course, and await official updates as developments unfold.
