Sarah Martins, the Nollywood actress has called out a female social media user who tried to shame her over her marital status.
Taking to her Instagram page, the Asaba-based actress shared a screenshot of a harsh comment from a female follower who wrote: “Old woman, go and marry, mad girl.”
In her response, Martins questioned why women often subject fellow women to such ridicule, especially over personal choices like marriage.
She revealed that she was on a film set, working hard to earn her daily income, when she came across the comment.
Martins said, “I read it and nodded my head. Then I decided to take a stroll on her page before blocking her, only to see ikwikwi in human form.”
Using the moment to send a message to her fellow women, she urged them to do better.

“Why do women marriage-shame other women?” Women, we can do better,” she stated.
Last year, the Asaba actress had lashed out at a male colleague for sexualising her. She said the unidentified colleague said he wanted to be in the same position as her spiritual husband because the clip he watched of her in an intimate moment messed up his head.
Sometime back, Sarah had issued a message to an unknown married woman who suspected her of being her husband’s side chic. She made it known that she doesn’t destroy people’s lives as she noted how she only has derriere like every other woman and didn’t kill anyone. Dropping a bombshell, she claimed the woman’s husband is gay as he is sleeping with his fellow man.
