Nigerian fashion entrepreneur Prudent Gabriel Okopi and her husband, gospel singer Peterson Okopi, have announced the gender of their baby.
The mum to be, posted a snippet of their gender reveal party on her Instagram, showing two luxury cars wrapped in blue and pink ribbons and balloons.
Prudent captioned the post, “He gave us our SONSHINE from Heaven, wrapped in Blue,” expressing her joy at having a baby boy. She also playfully teased those who were hoping for a baby girl, saying, “Team Girl don’t worry I stand with you next time, we must win” and added, “A king, a big brother”.
This exciting news comes after the couple revealed their pregnancy on August 25, 2025 as reported by eelive.ng, through an elegant maternity shoot on Instagram.
The photos showed Prudent and Peterson dressed in all-white attire, with Prudent proudly showcasing her baby bump. Alongside the pregnancy announcement, they also revealed plans to release their joint single, “He Is God”, on September 1, 2025.
Prudent and Peterson Okopi tied the knot in October 2024, and this new chapter in their lives has been filled with joy and anticipation. The couple’s love story began with a romantic proposal in July 2024, followed by traditional and white wedding celebrations later that year.
