Outrage as Video of 3-Year-Old Toddler Smoking Weed Goes Viral

An overwhelming wave of public outrage has erupted across social media platforms following the emergence of a shocking video showing a mother permitting her three-year-old son to smoke cannabis.

The disturbing footage, which has fast gone viral, has triggered intense condemnation from netizens who are now fiercely demanding the immediate intervention of law enforcement agencies and child protective services.

Netizens reacting to the footage on X (formerly Twitter), numerous commentators expressed profound concern for the toddler’s health and immediate physical safety.

One user, Onuoha Lorenzo, lamented the severe physical toll the substance would take on the toddler, writing:

Imagine tiny lungs taking in smoke. Just imagine! Woke generation una.”Echoing this deep medical concern.

Another netizen, Godey, pointed out the long-term dangers to the child’s development.

“What generation do we find ourselves, smoking causes cancer and we are all aware of that.Just imagine this little boy with his tiny lungs taking in this amount of smoke.

“And looking at him, this isn’t his first time.His immune system isn’t even developed yet and he is being exposed to these toxins, it will creep into his bloodstream and then affect him later on“. He wrote.

Beyond the immediate health implications, the internet community has fiercely criticised the mother’s parenting, with many labelling the act as blatant child abuse.

A commentator named Jason.B strongly condemned the behaviour, stating that such actions are exactly why many children turn out damaged

This is exactly why so many kids turn out damaged and reckless single mothers who treat their little ones like accessories for their own selfish highs instead of protecting them.

“Letting a 3-year-old hit a blunt? Pure child abuse. Real women raise children, they don’t destroy them for likes and clout. I’m sure its not the father thats there”. He wrote.

With the outcry reaching a crescendo, netizens have actively begun tagging official handles of the authorities to ensure accountability.

Users like Es and Bilkis have explicitly called upon the Nigerian Police Force (@PoliceNG) and the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (@Lagosdsva) to track down the location of the incident, rescue the innocent child, and swiftly arrest the perpetrators.
